For nearly three decades, I have dedicated my career to protecting families and communities across West Tennessee. I began my law enforcement career in Rutherford County in 1995 and later graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy in 1998. Since then, I have committed myself to ongoing education and specialized training in undercover drug operations, criminal investigations, and leadership.
Today, I serve as Senior Criminal Investigator for the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office, where I have successfully investigated cases ranging from thefts and burglaries to sexual assaults, homicides, and crimes against children. My work requires strong partnerships with surrounding law enforcement agencies and has led to the arrest of hundreds of offenders, helping make our communities safer.
In addition to my investigative work, I served as Constable for Gibson County for eight years. I have also been assigned as a Special Agent with the West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force and have served as a member of both the Tennessee Meth Task Force and the Tennessee Dangerous Drugs Task Force. These assignments reflect my commitment to tackling the toughest challenges in law enforcement and combating the drug problems that affect so many families in Gibson County.
LAW ENFORCEMENT CAREER & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
My service extends beyond the badge. My family has lived in Gibson County for more than five generations, and I take great pride in carrying on that tradition of community leadership. I’ve participated in Relay for Life events, local fundraisers, and programs that support families in need, and I’ve never turned down an opportunity to lend a hand.
I am a member of all three Gibson County Chambers of Commerce, a graduate of the Adult Leadership Program, and an active supporter of the Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Prevention. I also helped bring the first Child Advocacy Center to a neighboring county, ensuring that families across West Tennessee have access to vital resources during times of crisis.
Whether through my decades of service in law enforcement or my lifelong involvement in community programs, I have remained deeply dedicated to Gibson County. I believe true leadership comes from listening, serving, and protecting, and those are values I’ve lived by throughout my career.
